Voices From the Fuselage-Odyssey: The Founder Of Dreams REVIEW

Have you ever sniffed the aroma of a particular food, item, something that brings you back to an age where you felt the most emotionally vulnerable? Memories that tell a not so simple time involving love and break up. Even the loss of a loved one. Perhaps it strokes the chords for you today about not so pleasant thoughts lingering the mind or even beautiful thoughts. For me Odyssey: The Founder Of Dreams was that very aroma in the musical sense. It took me to a place where I felt vulnerable, which is a rare thing for new music to do to me. I was taken on an emotional journey that was both exhilarating and soothing to the senses. This is my first time listening to Voices From the Fuselage work and I promise this will not be my last. For a band of their stature, they brought great production that created an epic atmosphere to every single track. Nome of the songs felt half-ass. They felt sincere and from the heart. Normally, my shtick in my reviews is to add a lot of humor, but this review is different. I am sincerely blown away by the talent in this band. The guitars (Mitch Ramsay and Josh Galloway) provide sick riffs and a controlled tempo. Scott Lockhart on drums provides the great backbone to the track Life on Titan. Last but not least is Ashe O'Hara... My dude is the English Michael Jackson of progressive rock when it comes to his singing. His vocal range is impressive, such a powerful-melodic voice. Overall, Odyssey: The Founder Of Dreams is a satisfying album that is easily a piece of art I can/have listened to on repeat. Filled with epic production, melodic sound, beautiful lyrics, and soothing vocals. My favorites tracks are Nine Levels, Vault of Heaven and Domus. I give this album 5 out of 5 babies Jesus' in casual tuxedo t-shirts. This is worth the purchase, White Star Records is killing the game. Album coming out November 9th, 2018!
